Hello there! I'm Nathan, an instructional designer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. With a rich background in music education and technology, I've always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and learning. After a fulfilling decade as a band director and percussion specialist, I sought a new challenge and a better work-life balance, leading me to the exciting world of instructional design.
I find immense joy exploring trails with my two dogs and wife. When I'm not crafting engaging learning experiences, you'll often find me immersed in home improvement projects in our fixer-upper, reveling in the satisfaction of seeing a vision come to life with each tile laid or wall knocked down.
My passion for the outdoors also extends to designing and installing gardens that are havens for pollinators and the plant.
As a former band director, my commitment to teaching extends beyond the classroom. I continue to share my expertise through teaching private percussion lessons, consultations with music programs, and judging for winter percussion circuits.
I find great fulfillment in helping create positive transformation of human behavior through the process of learning. I'm a lifelong learner at heart, always eager to connect, collaborate, and understand the unique needs of those I work with.
